A great follow-up to my interview with Cliff Collins Jr. was this weekend at Comic-Con where I got to meet and sit down with Billy Connolly, Norman Reedus, Julie Benz and Clifton Collins (again).

Sitting in the hotel suite I got to chat with with Pappa MacManus and he explained to me a little bit of his character in the next film and that we’d get a backstory for Pappa “Il Duce” McManus.

“His background is explained and its very closely related to Peter Fonda’s character.” According to Connolly his character grows up with Fonda’s character known as The Roman and they end up going separate ways.

Peter Fonda was not at Comic-Con and maybe we will have a chance to talk to him sometime but the backstory between him and Pappa seems very interesting.

Sony Pictures has announced the details of The Boondock Saints II: All Saints Day panel at 2009 San Diego Comic Con International.
Fans can look forward the world premiere of the trailer for the panel on Saturday, July 25th at 3:30pm.

Dallas-based actor-turned-producer Andrew Stevens has had a film crew setting up around Dallas to shoot a Sci-Fi Channel World premiere movie, Mongolian Death Worm.

The opus stars Sean Patrick Flannery (The Boondock Saints) and features appearances by Dallas actor Drew Waters and Maxim Hot 100 model and actress Victoria Pratt.

During a recent day’s shoot, the basement at Southside on Lamar was used as an underground tomb. (Spooky, huh?)

Las Vegas, NV (CNS) – The air date for the Hallmark Channel’s Ally Sheedy-headlining tale “Citizen Jane” has been changed to Saturday, September 12. Marketed as “the true story of a devious killer and the average woman who did what the police couldn’t do”, the Hallmark Channel Original Movie was originally set to premier August 5.

Accompanying the former 80s ‘It girl’ of Brat Pack fame are acting talents Sean Patrick Flanery, Nia Peeples and Meat Loaf.

Based on the book of the same name penned by James Dalessandro, “Citizen Jane” follows one ordinary citizen’s plight for justice in the wake of a gruesome family tragedy. Ally Sheedy leads the cast as a wronged woman pitted against a remorseless murderer.

“Citizen Jane” premiers Saturday, August 12 (9/8c) on the Hallmark Channel.
